About QShip Worldwide

A freight forwarder built around Indian sellers going overseas

QShip Worldwide is a freight forwarder headquartered in Janakpuri, New Delhi. We move export cargo for Indian manufacturers and marketplace sellers by sea, air and road, clear it through customs at both ends, and deliver it into Amazon FBA, Walmart WFS and warehouses in the USA and Europe. Import work for Indian businesses is the other half of the desk.

What does QShip actually do?

We book the freight, file the customs paperwork, arrange the trucks and warehouses, and stay on the shipment until the consignee signs for it. For a garment exporter in Noida that means a container from the factory to a US warehouse. For an Amazon seller in Jaipur it means a pallet by air to an FBA fulfilment centre, prepped and labelled before it leaves Delhi.

The work is mostly unglamorous: getting the HS code right, meeting a port cut-off, booking the delivery appointment before the container lands. Doing those things reliably is the whole business.

Who does QShip work with?

Exporters from the Delhi NCR manufacturing belt and the handicraft and textile clusters around it: Jaipur, Moradabad, Panipat, Ludhiana and Noida. Marketplace sellers on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, the European Amazon sites and Walmart Marketplace. Importers bringing machinery, components and finished goods into India.

Customers' goods end up on shelves at Amazon, Walmart, Nordstrom, Bealls, Spencer's, Uncommon Goods and Cost Plus World Market, among others.

Where does QShip operate?

The office is at Block A2, Janakpuri, New Delhi. Export cargo moves through ICD Tughlakabad and ICD Dadri to Mundra and Nhava Sheva, through Delhi airport, and from Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata for cargo that originates there. At the destination we work with customs brokers and warehouses in Los Angeles, New Jersey, the UK and Germany that we deal with every week.

How is QShip different from a large forwarder?

Smaller, and deliberately so. Each customer has one logistics manager who knows the cargo, the factory and the marketplace account. Quotes are itemised. Problems are called through before they become emergencies. A large forwarder can offer more branches; we offer the same person answering the phone.
