How fast can you place a truck in Delhi NCR?

Covered trucks up to 32 ft are usually available within 24 hours, and same day for Delhi to ICD movements booked before noon. Container trailers depend on the line releasing the empty container, which we schedule with the vessel booking, so plan three working days ahead for factory stuffing.

Does QShip provide trucking without an ocean or air booking?

Yes. Domestic and port-connected road movements are booked on their own, for example moving stock from a factory in Jaipur to a warehouse in Delhi, or bringing an import container from Nhava Sheva. The same tracking and proof of delivery apply.

Is my cargo insured in transit by road?

Carrier liability under the Carriage by Road Act is limited and rarely covers the invoice value. We arrange transit insurance on request, priced as a small percentage of the declared value, and recommend it for anything fragile or above a few lakh rupees.

Can you handle loading at a factory with no dock or forklift?

Yes. We send a vehicle with a hydraulic tail lift or arrange manual loading labour, and for containers a trailer with a low bed where the yard allows. Tell us about the site when you book so the right equipment arrives the first time.

What happens if the truck breaks down or is delayed?

The vehicle is tracked and the update reaches you on the shipment status. For export cargo with a cut-off we transfer to a replacement vehicle or hold the booking for the next sailing, whichever protects the shipment best, and we tell you the options before deciding.

Trucking is the road leg of an export or import: factory to inland container depot, warehouse to airport, or port to your door. What is the difference between FTL and LTL?

Full truckload means the whole vehicle is yours, loaded at your premises and driven straight to the destination. Less than truckload means your consignment shares a vehicle, moves through a hub, and is priced by weight or volume. FTL is faster and cleaner; LTL is cheaper for anything under about six tonnes or twenty cubic metres.

Which vehicle does your cargo need?

Trailer movements for containers follow the shipping line's free days. We schedule the empty pickup, the stuffing window and the gate-in so the trailer is not sitting on detention at your gate.

What paperwork does road transport in India need?

Every consignment worth more than INR 50,000 needs an e-way bill generated on the GST portal before the truck moves, quoting the invoice and the vehicle number. For export cargo the shipping bill number goes on the transport document, and the container number, seal and VGM slip travel with the trailer. We generate and carry all of it, so a roadside check does not become a delay.
